Heather Bell

President
Heather Bell serves as the Lake Superintendent for the City of Litchfield, overseeing the stewardship and development of Lake Lou Yaeger. Prior to this role, Heather dedicated 13 years as an EMT with Bond County Emergency Services, bringing a strong background in public service and community care.

Following her husband Terry’s retirement, she spent two years traveling and assisting at state parks to gain hands-on experience in outdoor recreation and facility management. She is passionate about preserving the history of Lake Lou Yaeger while building an exciting future for generations to enjoy. Heather is the proud mother of three adult children and “Mimi” to two grandsons.

Ann M. Gronowski

Vice President
Ann is a Professor at Washington University School of Medicine in the Department of Pathology. Her areas of expertise are women’s health and laboratory medicine. She has served as president of multiple national professional associations and had the opportunity to travel extensively.
 
Her husband, Scott, is a BJC attorney. They have twin boys who are 25 years old and live in the Shaw neighborhood in St. Louis. The Gronowski family bought their Solar Circle home in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ann & Scott love gardening, biking and relaxing on the lake

Lee Hyde

Treasurer
Lee is a Senior Associate at SWT Design. He previously owned a video production company, was an owner and COO of an engineering firm and was Vice President of a land surveying company. He has an extensive background in marketing and administration.
 
His wife Kelly owned Gateway Land Services and currently works for Montgomery County in Illinois. They have two children who are professionals in finance and clinical research. They have one grandchild. The Hydes have owned property on the lake since 1999 and have been full time residents since 2019.

Lauren Bruning

Secretary
Lauren is an experienced attorney. She has worked at large law firms in Washington DC and St. Louis and helped lead multinational organizations’ in-house legal teams across all areas of law – from labor law to litigation to environmental law. She also has years of HR and Sustainability leadership and currently runs a legal and HR consulting firm as well as a property company.
 
Her husband AJ is also an attorney and CEO of the Bruning Law Firm. And she has two girls ages 9 and 12. Lauren and her family have been enjoying Lake Lou Yaeger since their home was built in 2022 in the Eagle Ridge subdivision.
